Work for the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture

ACSA

The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture

2015 – 2022

As the Creative Lead for Communications and Marketing, I managed the main brand of the ACSA in addition to the sub-brands including Study Architecture, IMADETHAT, and each of the conferences. My work ranged from publication design, ad campaigns, conference brand identities, wayfinding, and marketing.

Conferences

  • For each conference, usually 5-6/year, I developed the full brand identity including the digital ads, conference promotional material, nametags, proceedings, templates, and conference signage.

  • During the conference, I also served as the resident photographer, documenting the experience of the attendees.

  • Created program booklets and proceedings for conferences, peer-reviewed journals, and marketing materials.

#ACSA108

For the 108th Annual Meeting of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, the conference brand identity called for something light and airy to respond to the theme: OPEN. The use of light colors and low contrast created an illusion of vapor.

#ACSA107

For the 107th Annual Meeting of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, the theme was “Black Box” which was both literally and figuratively embedded within the conference brand identity. The use of squares and implied space within created a uniform graphic language that was used for the program book (as seen below), the banners, the backgrounds, the presentation templates, and the name tags.
