SYZYGY Media Collaborative was founded in 2022 to increase access to scientific learning. The founder, Dr. Samuel Ramsey, had recently made an epic discovery about the role of Varroa Mites in the demise of Honey Bee Populations. The foundation of the media company is built on the premise of educating through fun and engaging content for the entire family. Each video is made to incite curiosity and empathy within its viewers.
The brand identity design draws from the origins of the word SYZYGY and speaks to the alignment between seemingly disparate parts as one unified element.

Website Design
The goal of the website design is to immerse the viewer into the experience of the scientific discovery itself. From the macro photography and videography at the forefront, visitors can experience the up-close encounters with the bees from the safety of their computers. Full-bleed images and text overlays were cornerstones of this design.
